After much anticipation, members of the Sioux City Film Institute are proud to announce the third-annual Siouxland Film Festival. On Saturday, March 29th, the doors of the historic Orpheum Theater will open for one of this community’s most unique and popular events. Last year we screened over thirty short films, supplied by independent filmmakers from across this great state and graduate film students from around the country. Thanks to all that have submitted, supported, and attended in the past. We’re looking forward to another great year!

"The Siouxland Film Festival has brought a unique voice to the burgeoning film community of the Midwest. As a participant in last year's second annual event, it was a simple honor to see our film so well-received among the many other wonderful films present. The historic Orpheum theater played perfect host for the festival and its enthusiastic filmgoers. I look forward to seeing more remarkable talent at the next SFF.

"I came all the way from New York to see my film’s debut at the Siouxland Film
Festival. The theater is beautiful, the audience was supportive and enthusiastic, and the
other films were great. Thank you for making my introduction to the festival circuit (and
my first trip to Iowa) so memorable!"
